HeliBike NZ is all geared up for the 2023 / 2024 season trips and we're excited to ride with you! Here's some exciting updates and sneak peaks into what you can expect for the upcoming season:
Trail work
Due to the popularity of our Peak Vert & Bowen Peak trips, we'll be giving our singletrack trail off Bowen Peak some love for the upcoming season! We'll be widening it in certain places and will add some more flow to the bottom section near Ben Lomond saddle. The ride from the top of Bowen Peak down to Queenstown is an epic 1300 vertical metres, and 100% singletrack. Check out our Bowen Peak and Peak Vert trips here and get yourself booked on for an epic day out.
New Rental Bike Fleet This season we've teamed up with the crew at Better by Bike and have a brand-new fleet of Specialised Status trail bikes for you to rent for your Helibike experience. A burly, full suspension, 160mm travel bike, The Status is perfect for the big descents and terrain we ride on our trips. We'll have sizes from small through to XL, and they're available to rent from $135 per day. These bikes will also be available for multi-day rentals for all your Queenstown riding adventures too - win win.
