Fly from Queenstown Airport over the town centre to Bowen Peak, 1631 metres above Lake Whakatipu. Take in the amazing views from the summit, then start your descent through natural tussock and sub-alpine scrub before hitting the Missing Link trail from the Ben Lomond saddle & down into native beech forest. From here we have multiple descent options: continuing down into the Queenstown Bike Park trails or an extra pedal uphill & over to the Fernhill loop trails if the lungs & legs are keen!

We'll finish in downtown Queenstown for well-earned refreshments at one of the many bike-friendly bars & cafes.
